Larry A. Briggs is an artist from Saskatchewan that has called Calgary home for several years. He has received several art awards and has wildlife paintings in private and corporate collections in Canada and England. This painting of the Wood Duck is a bird that Larry loved to study and paint as it is one of the most colourful water fowl in our area. He got the inspiration for this painting through the many photos that he took of the bird.
