I chose Saskatchewan Sunset as the title of my art pieces because going to Saskatchewan countless times to the farm, the sunsets there are unforgettable and where I got my idea for this project. The beginning was very difficult for me because I did not know where to start but once I started adding more and more from the texture to the color it got a lot easier. Becky McNabb, our guest artist, helped me through the end stages of my art pieces. I was stumped and didn't know what to add but she suggested adding a geometric feel to it which is why I added the circles using the same color just different shades. This project is important to me because whenever I look at it I will always think of the sunsets in Saskatchewan at the farm as well as my experience working with a guest artist.
