This painting was done in collaboration with Bev Sorley, an artist born and raised here in Calgary, and 5-year-old Félip Roussy, who graduated from the G.R.I.T. program in June. Bev graciously created a stunning background to showcase our artist Félip's fireworks - a skill he honed for weeks prior to making his debut art piece with Bev.

At G.R.I.T., what may seem like the smallest moment in a child's life is celebrated with the biggest fireworks. The walls scream with laugher and joy as we celebrate every moment with the children and families that we work with. We truly believe that the more one celebrates, the more reason one finds to celebrate! Be who you were created to be, and you will set the world on fire.
