"Making fish out of glass is an art that we have been experimenting with for over a decade. As a medium, the fluid-like qualities of glass, easily captures the movement of a fish. The fish almost seems alive as the hot glass gently sways during the blowing process. Years of skill development in the studio, as well as observation in the wild, have combined to create the beauty seen in these glass works. We hope that these fish will act as ambassadors for the real fish they represent, and that they will remind people of the fragility of our natural resources."
