This relaxing 3-hour round trip wine tasting train journey begins in the historic town of Napa through to the idyllic town of St. Helena. Your experience begins with a freshly prepared gourmet lunch as you take in the row upon row of fresh ripening grapes and the historic and celebrated wineries that accompany them.  From there you will enjoy an hour long wine tour and tasting at the historic Grgich Hills Winery. Grgich Hills is 100% estate grown certified organic and are committed to making distinctive wines with quality, consistency, and longevity. On the tour, take a look at their Rutherford Vineyard and get a behind the scenes look at the cellar before ending with a tasting. On its southbound journey, the Train will stop again for you to re-board and relax in one of our 1915 Pullman lounge cars for the remainder of the journey, enjoying your chosen dessert and coffee as you return to the Wine Train Station.

Private Limousine Service
You will receive four consecutive hours of chauffeured luxury sedan service, inclusive of all service fees, PUC insurance, fuel and driver’s base gratuity. Located in the heart of Wine Country Private Limousine Service drivers are experts on the wine country area and can make winery recommendations based on your particular taste and interest.  

Terms and Conditions

Airfare

This package includes round-trip Lowest/Coach Economy Class service for two from participating destinations in Canada* to San Francisco or Oakland, CA, subject to availability. A Saturday night stay may be required. Flights may not be upgraded with miles.


Hotels

Unless otherwise specified, all hotel accommodation is booked in a standard room and is subject to availability.


Airfare taxes and surcharges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Ground transportation is not included in this package unless otherwise specified.


The following blackout dates apply:  All Canadian and U.S. Public Holidays including the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter.


Trip Changes/Additions

Any changes to the experience described will incur a service fee and any additional costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please refer to the service fee matrix for more information.

Cancellations

All trips are 100% non-refundable once the reservation has been completed.


Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance when redeeming your package.

Travel must be booked within 12 months from date of purchase. Reservations are subject to availability. All packages have a no refund policy.

*Participating departure destinations in Canada: Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax and Winnipeg.


Package Redemption

Your auction package redemption voucher will be emailed to you. Please allow 15 days for your redemption voucher to be delivered from the time payment is received. You will need your redemption voucher number when contacting our concierge department for booking your travel. Travel needs to be booked within one year and travelled within two years. As well travel must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance and reservations are subject to availability. All certificates should be handled with care as they are the same as cash and non-refundable. Auction packages cannot be resold.
