Rosemarie Stanford loves to play with light in her images. She also enjoys working with nature because the tranquility of a garden is comforting. Her backgrounds are always black because they give a dramatic and mysterious look to the work. Rosemarie especially loves the way black intensifies the beauty and gentleness of an orchid while being powerful at the same time.
