The elephants are examples of the internationally recognized Shona school of sculpture from Zimbabwe. The artist works in an artist colony in the rural community of Tengenenge where the Houstons have had connections for a number of years.
All auction tems will be at the Parkland gala dinner at the University of Alberta's Faculty Club on May 19th. If you are not attending the gala dinner, then we will arrange a time for people in Edmonton to come pick up the items at our office. For those people who are not in Edmonton or able to come pick up the items, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item to you.
