About the Artist: Jeff Thrale spent many years living in Canmore where he raised his family and worked for ATCO for over forty years. He is now happily retired, and when his grandkids & 4 daughters aren’t keeping him busy, he loves to occupy himself with playing hockey, golf, skiing, and going on long walks with his grand-puppies. He is a “Jeff of all trades” and is always happy to help with building projects and home repairs.  He enjoys building furniture and loves to putter around in his garage. Through the pandemic, he discovered another hidden talent and began creating his Art. These pieces are made from sheets of MDF, Jeff draws a scene, then cuts out the pieces to paint then puts it back together like a puzzle. The end-result is a unique abstract masterpiece.  Inspired by the nature of the Rockies, each piece is one of a kind and inspired by a lifetime of outdoor time in the Bow Valley.
