"Jeffery Kerras is remembered as the finest folk artist that P.E.I. has ever seen. He is also remembered for his absolute talent.”

"Wacky, fun, iconoclastic - these are the hallmarks of a folk artist, and P.E.I. Native Jeffery Kerras has them in spades".

Whether it’s the double-headed pigs carvings, the King Tut masks, the Canada Mountie beaver or the bear sculpture that guards his back door, the artist was known for his creative, playful spirit.

With an exhibition in Calgary and a website, his sculptures have been sold “all over Canada and beyond.” His commissioned work includes pieces created for Kingsbridge Garden, St. Andrews, New Brunswick.

Details of the item is as follows:

The featured whirligig, Jeffery explains, consists of four pigs outfitted with plane wings, and propellers on their noses that turn. There’s a bicycle tire in the center of the unit and school bus reflectors catch the wind to make it turn!
