The iconic wine country moment – clinking glasses together with friends sitting at a picnic table surrounded by vines on a beautiful summer day. Nothing says wine country like indulging in a fresh, local and delicious meal tucked in amongst the vines. Free Range creates this for you and adds our signature touch: the inspired cuisine of Top Chef Canada Chris Shaften. Our Picnic in a Vineyard tour offers two options for your gourmet experience, Charcuterie and Cheese or our Market Menu.
Our gourmet charcuterie and cheese board features local craft selections, house baked breads and signature pickles and preserves while the market spread is a combination of salads and meats with fresh condiments reminiscent of casual family picnics incorporating local ingredients and wine country spirit.
With both options we will build your picnic while you are having a boutique tasting experience before meeting back up and enjoying lunch and a bottle of premium wine to match.

Smoked chicken breast with new potato and chimichurri, local beets with smoked labneh and candied walnuts, Seared albacore tuna with wild rice and soy

Bookings must be made within 6 months of purchase. Certificate expires within 12 months of purchase. All certificates should be handled with care as they are the same as cash and non-refundable. Auction packages cannot be resold. Free Range Tours reserves the right to not offer tour services during times deemed “unfavourable” by Free Range Team. Additional guests may be added at time of booking. *Transportation provided to and from hotel within downtown Kelowna. Please specify where you are staying at time of booking.
