• CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER – Champagne region
All Champagne is sparkling wine but not all sparkling wine is Champagne. To be Champagne it must come from the Champagne region in NE France. Champagne Taittinger is one of the few champagne houses that is still family owned and operated. Taittinger is the 6th largest Champagne producer in the world. The winery is in Reims and the cellars are a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Wine Spectator – 90 points – “A fresh rosé Champagne that offers an accessible mix of baked strawberry, toasted almond, candied pink grapefruit peel and spice flavors set on the lively, persistent mousse.”

• CHATEAU DE SANTENAY – Burgundy region
White wine – Meursault 2017
Meursault is a village in the Côte de Beaune for producing great white wines. Chardonnay
reigns there. This wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. It is a bright pale gold in colour,with elegant and fruity aromas of brioche and hazelnut. It is full bodied with ripe pear and floral flavours.

Red wine - Gevrey-Chambertin 2015
Gevrey-Chambertin is a village in the Cote de Nuits district in northern Burgundy. The red wines from this area are known for their silky, smooth mouthfeel. This 100% Pinot Noir has notes of blackcurrant and liquorice that blend beautifully with the slight peppery finish. A very good example of wines from this village.
