Calgary Rowing Club: Youth Camp Registration

This item is perfect for a 10 – 14 year old teen. At the Calgary Rowing Club’s Youth Camp kids will learn everything about rowing, from boat handling to stroke technique, all in a week. No fitness level or rowing experience required! By Friday, the kids are zipping around the reservoir!
The week long camps are broken down into an orientation session, rowing sessions and off-water sessions and run in July and August, 2020.
Teamwork is crucial in rowing. Teamwork is emphasized by incorporating fun games that require working together effectively. The Calgary Rowing Club camp experience builds self-confidence, develops skills and, above all, fosters new friendships.
Camps start at 8:30 am and finish at 4:00 pm, daily from Monday to Friday. Supervision starts at 8:00 am if your son/daughter must be dropped off early. No fitness level or rowing experience is required. Donated by the Calgary Rowing Club.
