Uncommon ciders community Ciders showcase the Good Apples of Calgary.
Each fall they open their doors and receive donations of fruit from backyard trees all over Calgary. They sort and hand press every apple, fermenting with wild yeasts living on the skin of the apples.

With notes of ripe cantaloupe, lemonade, elbow bumps, riesling & soft wildflower aromatics.
You can taste the community of this city in every sip.

Apple Cherry Cider

For lovers of all things wild and unique, this blend of cherry wine & apple cider is boldly different. Notes of red plum, almond, and nougat mingle with a layer of creaminess reminiscent of panna cotta. Next stop; funky town. Hop on in.

Some of the most rewarding friendships are built on common ground and a shared history. Uncommon Cider & Blind Enthusiasm is no exception. Our common ground is our love for all things mixed ferment, blended, barrel aged, complex, & wild; these are the things we focus on in our own products and what we love about collaborating with each-other.

The first of our multi-year collaborations revolves around our shared belief that great things take time. For the past year we have aged some of our favourite wild fermented ciders and fruit wines in Hungarian oak barrels formerly used in aging red wine. Those same barrels will get a third use with mixed-ferment beer from Blind Enthusiasm’s Monolith.
