Butterfield Acres, located on the NW edge of Calgary, is home to a myriad of animals, including ponies, chickens, donkeys, pigs, ducks, goats, sheep, turkeys, emus, alpacas (or are they llamas? I never know the difference!), cows, horses and even a farm cat or two. Your whole family will want to visit with and feed the animals, go on a pony ride, and play safely outdoors in fun areas like the goat bridge and Nursery Rhyme Park. Be sure to also catch a ride through the farm on a wagon pulled by Old Blue (yes, the tractor has a name!). The farm offers lots of great picnicking areas and if you’ve really worked up an appetite, you can pick up snacks from the concession.
4 Passes for admission (child or adult) to Butterfield Acres Farm valid on weekends from 10am - 4pm from April 1 to September 30.
