We are raising funds the help with the boys’ U13, Tier 1 soccer team, Blizzard Alliance in their quest for further soccer development experiences. The team has been together for 2 years in the development program at Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club.  Their perseverance helped them win the City and Provincial Championships last year and finish in top standings in numerous local tournaments. As part of their development process the team is eager to compete at an international level. In August of 2017, the Blizzard Alliance will be participating in the Surf Cup, San Diego, California surfcup.com/surf-cup.  This tournament is host to teams from the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America as well as a forum for College scouts.

Blizzard Alliance is a lovely group of boys coached by three highly respected volunteer coaches. The boys are kind, considerate and supportive of one another as well as being determined, dedicated and focused. Both on and off the pitch this team is developing into a respected group of young men. They play and work hard, respect their coaches, teammates, officials and opponents. They are an example of what elite sport can be. It will be a great achievement for the Blizzard Alliance to apply their training and dedication at this caliber.
