Calvin Christian School is celebrating its 60th year of opening its doors to children from Winnipeg and beyond. Our elementary campus is located at 245 Sutton Avenue in North Kildonan and our collegiate campus is located at 706 Day Street in Transcona. From its humble beginning on Sutton Avenue, to two campuses that now serve approximately 450 students, we have so much to be thankful for. Calvin is a community seeking to glorify God through teaching and learning, and providing a worldview that colours our actions and thoughts as we strive to grow leaders who will go out and do great things in our world for years to come.

Our skilled administrators, teachers, and support staff continue to guide and assist our students in developing a frame of mind that will help them appreciate and understand the role that they will play in God’s wonderful story.

It was a difficult but necessary decision to postpone the Calvin Christian School bi-annual fundraising banquet last March due to the pandemic. Much work and significant contributions from our sponsors had gone into our plans for a memorable and fun evening and the planned attendance from our community had been very favourable.

Over the past 6 months, December through May, we released a series of short videos highlighting prior staff, students and accomplishments from each decade. It has been a fun walk down memory lane and we hope you enjoyed it. The six month 60th Anniversary Fundraising Drive concludes May 4th, 2021 with a Virtual Banquet program in conjunction with this Silent auction. Proceeds raised from this auction will allow the school to continue its commitment of providing quality Christ-centered education to our families.
