Proceeds from this North Star Ford Charity Poker Tournament will help assist the Alberta Children's Hospital to raise funds for excellence in child health, research and family centered care. Funds raised will help specialists at the Alberta Children's Hospital find new cures and provide better care for families fighting cancer. The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation is honored to work with the dedication team of caring professionals at our hospital and even prouder to be a part of a community, that shares in the vision of a healthier future for families for our children.

Edge School is where busy student- athletes can achieve a balanced life while pursing their personal best through the purposeful integration of excellence in academics, athletics and character building. Edge school provides financial assistance to over twenty percent of its student population, affording them the opportunity to attend Edge School and peruse their passion. Funds raised from the Second Annual North Star Ford Charity Poker Tournament will provide financial assistance, through the Edge Financial Assistance Program, to students who would otherwise be unable to attend and benefit from this amazing institution.
