Olds College Gala 2017 - On-line Pre-Bidding Introduction:
Olds College first opened its doors in September, 1913 as one of three demonstration farms established to help train new Albertans in working with the land in the province. In the 103 years since bringing in our first intake of students, Olds College has grown to become the premier Canadian integrated learning and applied research community specializing in not only agriculture, but also in horticulture, land and environmental management. The College also has grown to include a second campus, located in downtown Calgary, known as The Fashion Institute by Olds College. This second campus is home to our fashion programs, and has become a hub of the fashion community in Calgary.

About the Olds College Gala
Please join us at the 15th annual Olds College ‘Growing the Legacy’ Gala. Our annual Gala has become one of the biggest nights of the year at Olds College. At Gala, we meet with our friends to enjoy amazing entertainment, a brilliant guest speaker, an amazing dinner, and, to celebrate the successes of Olds College, our programs, and most importantly, our students and alumni.

About the Opportunities Fund
Funds raised at the Olds College Gala goes into the Olds College Opportunities Fund. The Opportunities Fund allows programs, faculty and staff of the College to pursue unanticipated educational priorities and equipment, including but not limited to replacing necessary classroom equipment that has broken and must be replaced, initiating new development opportunities for students or staff to take part in.

About BEYOND
Olds College’s multi-year fundraising campaign, beyond, will fund several infrastructure projects designed to take the campus and students beyond tomorrow, beyond expectations and beyond the classroom. These initiatives, including the HUB Student Learning, Health and Wellness Commons, and the Animal Health Education and Industry Training Centre, will give Olds College students the opportunity to learn and live in the most modern facilities, using the most up to date techniques and equipment to help them achieve their goals in and out of the classroom.
