What is “Pucks for Paws”?

The owners of WEB Consulting Ltd. (Bill Waddell & Elaine MacDonald) are passionate animal lovers. In particular, they love dogs. In 2013, they partnered with the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Team and sponsored “Pucks for Paws”. They were successful in raising approximately $ 10,000 for the “Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)”, an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of animals by rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, surrendered, or abused animals.

In 2014 and 2015, WEB Consulting Ltd. again partnered with the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Team for the “Pucks for Paws” event and they raised a total of over $ 33,000 for “Four Feet Companion Foundation”, a local, 100% volunteer run charitable foundation that provides biannual grants to various animal charities in Calgary and surrounding areas. WEB Consulting Ltd. is pleased to sponsor the 4th annual “Pucks for Paws” in support of “Four Feet Companion Foundation”. WEB Consulting Ltd. and the Calgary Hitmen will be sponsoring Travis and Taylor Sanheim. They will each contribute $ 10 per point scored by Travis and Taylor during the regular season to “Four Feet Companion Foundation”. In addition, WEB Consulting Ltd. will be contributing $ 10 per point to Southwood Veterinary Hospital to provide funds for animal owners who are unable to afford veterinary care. As at January 4th, 2016, Travis has 31 points and Taylor has 14 points.
