Accessible Housing's Silent Auction Moves Online!

Over the past few years, many of us have enjoyed gathering for Accessible Housing's Annual Dinner for Doors event. The event included the much-anticipated silent auction but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the in-person event had to be postponed for 2020. We wanted to ensure that you could still have the opportunity to support Accessible Housing and the community through this online auction (it is just as fun as our past silent auction but you don’t even need to get out of your pajamas to participate). 

Accessible Housing opens doors for people with limited mobility to enhance dignity through accessible homes that are appropriate and affordable.  All proceeds raised will go towards the programs and services that Accessible Housing provides.

Affordable and appropriate housing is a serious issue for those living with mobility issues.  In Calgary, 58% of adults with disabilities have incomes under $30,000 per year and less than 3% of affordable housing units in Calgary are accessible for a person with a disability. Your support will make a difference and help us to continue to provide quality programs and services.
