5th Annual Calgary Counselling Centre Charity Classic presented by Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP
Monday, August 29th 2011 at Priddis Green Golf and Country Club
Now in its fifth year, the 2011 Calgary Counselling Centre golf tournament is at a new prestigious location – Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club. Of all the large charity tournaments in Calgary, ours combines golf at a beautiful course and education about mental health. Every year at the tournament participants learn about Calgary Counselling Centre programming. Throughout the event there are activities and trivia on the course educating golfers about the Centre’s approach to helping people with their mental health. This combination helps us tell golfers about our priority programs, in a fun setting.
The formula is working. Since its inception, our tournament has hosted 452 new and repeat golfers and we’ve raised over $279,500 in direct and residual donations. Our tournament hosts corporate Calgary attendees as well as small and medium business owners.
