Since 2001, the Friends of the Grande Spirit Foundation have funded projects big and small valued in excess of $500,000; because we believe that our seniors deserve all the comforts of home. This funding has gone toward big and small projects, such as resident workshops for hobbies, exercise equipment, indoor activities and gardening for health and vitality, outdoor furnishings for relaxing visits and a new bus for safe and pleasant trips

The Friends of the Grande Spirit Foundation Annual Fundraising Auction may look a little different this year, but we are forging ahead.  This is our 12th annual event and just like every year, we have an amazing selection of items donated from local businesses for you to choose from.

Who are the Friends of the Grande Spirit Foundation?
We are a volunteer group established in 2001, in response to a donation made and changes in operating assistance by the government relating to full coverage to costs for basic services, the Friends of the Grande Spirit Foundation oversees the administration of any funds donated or raised through Fundraising.  Our mission is to purchase items that improve the quality of life and to help make our seniors feel more at home.

As many are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has left our seniors feeling isolated.  100% of the funds raised through this event will go directly to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in isolation.  During the pandemic, the Friends of the Foundation have been able to fund special individual meals for seniors in independent apartments who were not able to go out and enjoy these holidays with their family.
