This auction is held in lieu of our Bright Night Gala that has been postponed until next year. This auction features a vast array of items from some of our great local companies!

The Go Live Foundation is a federal non-profit organization that strives to support and educate people going through the tribulations of cancer. We promote living life to the fullest as we have seen first hand how short life can truly be. This foundation was created in honour of the founders late parents who both passed from cancer at young ages.

This auction specifically will be in support of Unit 32 of the Red Deer Regional Hospital which specializes in oncology and palliative care. Unit 32 is an acute palliative care unit that specializes in care of the newly diagnosed cancer patient that is continuing to have investigations, or is having complications related to their cancer.  They also admit patients that are suspect for cancer, so they are still diagnosing. They admit patients that are having complications related to their life limiting illness, generally cancer but could also be ALS or other conditions.  Unit 32 specializes in pain control and the nurses are very competent with patient pain management which can be very complicated.
