Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is a non-profit organization working towards a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. Through volunteer labour and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent houses alongside homeowner (partner) families.

Our Foothills Chapter has now purchased a lot in High River, AB and is raising funds for our duplex build, slated to begin in April 2015. 100% of the funds we raise in the Foothills stay in the Foothills.

Habitat homes are sold to eligible partner families, and are financed with affordable no interest mortgages. Homes are built using volunteer labour and donation of money and materials. Monies collected through mortgages go into a revolving fund, which is used to build more homes for more families in need. Each family helps another family achieve homeownership.

We have had tremendous donor support and are thrilled to offer some very unique auction items.
