The owners of WEB Consulting Ltd. (Bill Waddell & Elaine MacDonald) are passionate animal lovers. In particular, they love dogs. In 2013, they partnered with the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Team and sponsored “Pucks for Paws”. They were successful in raising approximately $10,000 for the “Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)”, an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of animals by rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, surrendered, or abused animals.

In 2014, WEB Consulting Ltd. once again partnered with the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Team for the second “Pucks for Paws” event and they raised close to $15,000 for “Four Feet Companion Foundation”, a local, 100% volunteer run charitable foundation that provides biannual grants to various animal charities in Calgary and surrounding areas.

In addition to the “Pucks for Paws” event, the Calgary Hitmen will be honoring Ryan Getzlaf, a former member of the Calgary Hitmen and an extremely successful N.H.L. player with the Anaheim Ducks. WEB Consulting Ltd. and the Calgary Hitmen will be sponsoring Adam Tambellini and Connor Rankin, two of the top players on the team. They will each contribute $20 per point scored by Adam and Connor during the regular season to Four Feet Companion Foundation. As at December 18, 2014, Adam had 36 points and Connor had 33 points.
