Synaptic was founded by a group of skilled practitioners and forward thinking philanthropists who wanted to bridge the gap in long term rehabilitation services and offer a client centre facility that provided ongoing treatment after injury or diagnosis. 

Our vision is to provide all individuals with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions access to progressive rehabilitation technology and education. 

Thanks to the generosity of private donors, corporate sponsors and invested community members, Synaptic is able to operate on a cost recovery model. This ensures that we can deliver our services in the most cost effective manner and reduce the financial burden for those living with neurological conditions.
