Dimensions: 11 cm x 2 cm About the artwork: In 2020, artist Jaime Black created a public art installation, the REDress Project, in response to the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) in Canada and the U.S. The installation featured numerous empty dresses that represent the women and girls who should be wearing them. The red dress has become a visual reminder of MMIWG. About the Artist: Linda Diffey is a Cree artist and a member of Peepeekisis Cree Nation in the Treaty 4 region. She resides in Winnipeg, where she is also on faculty in the University of Manitoba's College of Medicine.

The CAME Foundation will work with the artists to ship the artwork to the successful bidders. Please note: Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
