This artwork was inspired by a poster from the anime chainsaw man. Since I enjoy the anime and its art style, I used that as my inspiration. I recreated the poster using similar colours and shapes as the original poster. I worked with acrylic paints on canvas as my medium. I found the process to be both interesting and not too difficult. In the bottom left corner, you can see a shape that represents the blade of the chainsaw and small shapes and lines that resemble the spikes. I also used drywall compound on that area with the green parts for texture. On the yellow coloured area with orange dots like shapes and shading, I used bubble wrap to add texture there. In order to get the colours I wanted, I had to do some blending and shading. The colours I mostly used were orange, green, yellow, white and black. Although I don't have much experience with abstract art, I really enjoyed creating this.
