You and a companion will enjoy three days of fly fishing for Mako sharks with Captain Mark Martin of San Diego Saltwater Flyfishing. In his words, “San Diego offers a shark fishery like no other place. These amazing sharks have the capability of peeling drag off your reel at speeds of 35 mph while jumping and flipping up to ten feet in the air, before hitting the water and doing it again.”

Your three days of fishing will start at 7:30 am and end about 4 pm. Captain Mark has all the tackle, flies, leaders etc. needed for fishing with the Makos or offshore species. You will enjoy five nights double-occupancy accommodation at the waterfront resort, The Dana on Mission Bay. You can walk directly from your room to their marina where you will join Captain Mark for this catch and release adventure. Also, with five nights of accommodation you will have an extra day in San Diego to take in the sights of this great city (or you could book Captain Mark for more fishing!).
