The title and theme of my painting are both inspired by mountains and their unfathomable scale. The colour choice in my painting is important, the blues and reds in the painting represent the clashing beauty and animosity of a mountain. During the creation process of this painting I was able to achieve further knowledge on the importance of layering in painting. While I am not particularly proud of the outcome of this painting it’s helped me better understand and improve my skill with the medium.
