Please tell us about a turning point or challenge that you feel shaped you as a leader or mentor.
"My own commitment to volunteerism and my work leading corporate volunteer engagement has, and continues to, shape and teach me. Volunteerism brings people together like no other experience, it's an opportunity to meet people from all ages, stages and personal backgrounds who have come together to make a collective difference. The preparation, consideration, and support that volunteer activities require is complex but so rewarding."
Share a success story - what are you most proud of accomplishing?
"I'm incredibly humbled, but proud of the network that I have established, of the experiences I have had with incredible community leaders through my opportunities work alongside them, and to learn from them. They have taught me that being genuinely curious and open to new ways of doing things, and trusting the collaborative process, is the key to success".
